My sister bethy and I took some picture of a few pieces I wanted to blog about and we thought they looked pretty dandy when played at an incredible speed... so i did some crazy technological things and totally BLOGGED IT!! - I am doing my absolute darndest to finish my 2nd year of a Bachelor of Visual Arts in which I am majoring in Jewellery and Object Design. I have an intense liking for stories, history and all things old and worn. Something in particular that tends to float my boat is antique illustrations. I love nothing more than coming across an illustration where I can almost physically feel the emotion and the value the illustrator has put into the work. It is something so tremendously precious and yet sadly rather rare. In my work I often try to draw inspiration from humorous and unique subjects, and I try to use materials that also reflect this. I get an incredible amount of satisfaction from pushing projects to the very limit and then waiting to see the reactions. Many people believe there is very little left in this world to explore, I however am thoroughly thrilled at the thought that I have next to no idea what most things are about and have the rest of my life to do a large amount of discovering. I do love a good mystery.
